We are seeking a professional, safe, talented, and self-motivated Environmental Technician to work on a long-term project in the Needles area of CA. If you're a motivated problem-solver who enjoys hands-on work and meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform operations and maintenance, inspections, monitoring, sampling, and troubleshooting of various types of environmental remediation systems;
- Prepare daily field reports and provide verbal notification of site status to the field supervisor;
- Assist with remediation well rehabilitation, remediation system expansion and/or repairs, or other remediation system work activities, as needed;
- Use and perform maintenance on field instruments and other equipment, and ensure that the equipment is in proper operating condition;
- Adhere to safety policies and ensure compliance with the Health and Safety Plan;
- Adhere to ETIC and client-specific policies and procedures; and
- Conduct off-hours and/or weekend inspections of the site remediation systems as needed.
- The job duties and obligations may change from time to time as determined by ETIC.
- Work closely with and under the direction of a Crew Lead/Foreman/Superintendent.
- Ensure that all field procedures and safety protocols are followed in compliance with ETIC and client-specific requirements
Successful Candidates Should Have:
- 2-7 years of verifiable relevant work experience.
- Physical strength and stamina are required to complete strenuous work for long shifts outdoors.
- Great decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Great oral communication and comprehension skills.
- Excellent professionalism and teamwork are needed.
- Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Must meet company-defined, pre-employment, and annual physicals, including alcohol/drug screens.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- HAZWOPER 40-hour training preferred (but not required).
Pay Range: $28 to $32 per hour
